Our Drawing Lab classes are mostly designed for children over 10. From experience, we find children are ready to learn technical drawing skills at different levels so it is a great idea to arrange a time to meet with us so we can discuss the perfect class to propel your child's drawing skills..
We are serious about making Drawing the perfect balance of fun, enjoyable education. Sure, the classes are really fun..We have die-hard fans who return year after year to their favourite drawing classes.
We do ask parents to consider their child's personality before booking Drawing Lab, students will need to be able to listen well, sit and focus when necessary to bring out their talent. Students who walk around often in class will miss out on valuable teaching and may also disrupt others. Consider our Saturday morning class for dynamic learners if you are unsure.

Options for primary ages 8 and over
Weekly Drawing Classes for Students ages 10 through to Senior;
*While the Saturday early bird class still requires attention to detail, projects are aimed at students who like more freedom of pace and may thrive in a dynamic environment; The age is open from 8 up.

We try our best to advise the right age for each program but as each child is unique , new students who wish to join us might like to visit first to see what we do and chat to us about what they want from the classes. We can help you select the perfect class.
What to expect from our Drawing Lab classes.
Learn how to transfer images from your imagination with personalised tuition that is directed to pushing you to your highest standard. Drawing is not just pencil to paper.
Specialised sketching /drawing techniques will be taught over multiple lessons. The techniques will be utilised to create a major artwork, customised to your own personal design.
Drawing Lab is great for creative kids with a vivid imagination who enjoy drawing. All fine art quality drawing media provided and all students have their own most amazing professional drawing boards ever!
DRAWING LAB DIGITAL ART- LEARN PROCREATE- Tuesday 5pm weekly
Drawing Lab Digital is a lesson aimed at students who love to draw but may lack the confidence or know how to propel their art into digital form.
Where to start? At the basics....The best place to begin. The lessons are designed to empower beginners with all the skills they need to create art and animation on their iPad. Students will be shown how to create illustrations using their apple pencils and find new ways to render their art. Not only will these classes teach students to draw and design on their ipads, and we will also be extending out to print and producing art on a variety of surfaces.
Choose your day, Drawing Lab classes run each afternoon Tuesday to Friday weekly. Terms are 9 weeks long.

Please note the suited age for each time slot. The early groups are best for ages 10 up and the later sessions are best for over 12's* 4pm-5pm classes suit best ages 10-14 *5:30-6:30pm classes are suited to 12/13 up.
Tuesday Junior drawers at 4pm and Saturday early morning Drawing Lab is suited to younger drawers starting out from 8 years and older.
