Painting nature in Oils
Expressive Nature Oil painting workshop series.
When: Saturday's at 1pm
19th October, Paint Sea and Skies in Oils
16th November, Paint Garden life
Where; Ormiston at the Redlands Art School studio.
Duration; 2-2.5 hours
Using the colour palette provided, students will learn how to paint wet in wet techniques learning to blend, create simple effect and approaches to Alla Prima style in painting.
At each workshop, we will discover new skills and try new approaches to our painting.
There is no lock in, no need to attend all workshops, the adult painting classes will be offered throughout the year and are available to join at any time.
19th October; Class focus will be skies and sea in oils.
16th October; Class focus will be garden life
Let's get serious and start painting in oils...Well not too serious:) I always teach in a relaxed and comfortable way using methods I know will bring great results. This class requires minimal painting experience, and no drawing skills are needed.
What to expect; Fast and vigorous blending, multiple strokes and expressive marks.
This class will be suited to students of mature age, as this is a technique-based painting class high school students are welcome to attend with us.

What is included in the cost?
Tuition & teacher /2.5 hour art workshop
Brushes, paints and surfaces are provided.
We will all be painting with the same paints. Oil paints are provided along with your canvas or panel.
